뜻하신 그 곳에
“만일 누가 말하려면 하나님의 말씀을 하는 것 같이 하고 ~ 하나님이 영광을 받으시게 하려 함이니”(벧전4:11)
우리는 매일 가정에서, 교회, 직장, 세상 속에서 끊임없이 말을 합니다. 그런데 성경은 하나님의 뜻을 전하고 하나님께서 영광 받으시도록 말해야 한다고 매우 엄중하게 말씀합니다.
자기 생각, 감정, 편견을 내려놓고, 상처주고 낙심하게 하는 말이 아니라 믿음을 주는 말을 해야합니다. 왜냐하면 우리는 세상 속에서 하나님의 이름을 나타내는 자들이기 때문입니다.
샬롬! 오늘도 우리의 입술을 통해 하나님의 은혜와 능력이 나타나고 하나님께서 영광 돌리는 복된날 되시기를 기도하며 축복합니다.^^
“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the very word of God, so that God may be glorified.” (1 Peter 4:11)
Every day, we speak constantly at home, at church, at work, and in the world. However, the Bible strongly commands us to speak in a way that conveys God’s will and brings Him glory.
We must set aside our own thoughts, feelings, and prejudices, and speak words that build faith, not words that hurt or discourage. For we are those who represent God’s name in the world.
