​지난 한 해, 혹독한 고난의 광야를 통과하면서도 결코 포기할 수 없었던 것은 오직 복음에 대한 사명과 부르심이었습니다.1년이 넘는 시간 동안 기도로 준비하며 다짐한 것은 오직 예수 그리스도만이 삶의 주인이 되시고, ‘예수, 열방의 빛’이신 주님의 이름만 높이는 공동체를 세우는 것이었습니다.

​광야의 길목마다 하나님께서는 예비하신 소중한 사람들을 만나게 하셨고, 그 만남을 통해 세계(Global)와 지역(Local)을 함께 품고 섬기는 Glocal Impact Ministry의 비전을 구체화하게 하셨습니다. ​Glocal Impact Ministry는 미국의 심장부인 워싱턴 DC와 인천 국제도시 송도를 잇는 믿음의 다리입니다. 지리, 문화, 종교, 세대, 디지털, 경제, 예술/미디어의 모든 경계선을 넘어 함께 걷고(Walk Together), 함께 일하며(Work Together)  함께 연결하는(Link Together)선교적 네트워크입니다.

​“그리하여 온 유대와 갈릴리와 사마리아 교회가 평안하여 든든히 서 가고 주를 경외함과 성령의 위로로 진행하여 수가 더 많아지니라” (사도행전 9:31)

바라기는 ​말씀의 반석 위에 굳건히 서서, 우리가 섬기는 가정과 교회, 지역사회와 지구촌 구석구석의 사역 현장이 평안 가운데 든든히 서 가기를 소망합니다. 주를 경외함과 성령의 위로로 날마다 예수의 길을 따르는 자들이 더해지는 하늘비전이 이루어지길 간절히 소원합니다.

Throughout the past year—even as I traversed a wilderness of severe hardship—the one thing I could never abandon was my mission and calling to the Gospel. For over a year, as I prepared through prayer and renewed my resolve, my sole commitment was to establish a community where Jesus Christ alone is the Master of our lives, and where we exalt only the name of the Lord—Jesus, the Light of the Nations.

At every turn along this wilderness journey, God led me to encounter precious people He had prepared in advance; through these encounters, He enabled me to give concrete form to the vision of “Glocal Impact Ministry”—a ministry that embraces and serves both the global and local spheres.

Glocal Impact Ministry serves as a bridge of faith connecting Washington D.C.—the very heart of the United States—with Songdo, the international city of Incheon. It is a missional network that transcends all boundaries—whether geographic, cultural, religious, generational, digital, economic, or artistic/media—to Walk Together, Work Together, and Link Together.

“So the churches throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and were being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they multiplied.” (Acts 9:31)

Standing firm upon the bedrock of God’s Word, I pray that the families, churches, and ministry fields we serve—reaching into every corner of the globe—may be established securely and stand firm in peace.

It is my earnest desire that a heavenly vision be realized—one in which, through reverence for the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit, the number of those who follow the path of Jesus increases day by day.
