Call on me in the day of trouble,
I will deliver you, and you will honor me(Psalms 50:15)
구원의 하나님! 코로나 바이러스로 환난과 고통가운데 있습니다. 주님의 도움을 간절히 구하오니 이시간 성령께서 도우시고 저희가 드리는 예배 가운데 함께 하시사 저희들을 모든 고통과 시험에서 건지시고 홀로 영광 받아주시옵소서.
주 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
Gracious God, we are in trouble by COVID 19. We ask to your help, please help us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all the trouble. So, we might glorify to your name.

Ⅶ. 설교 요약(시편 130:1~8) ‘내가 깊은 곳에서 부르짖나이다’
오늘 본문 시편 130편의 저자는 인생의 깊은 수렁, 고난의 밑바닥에서 하나님께 부르짖고 있습니다. 코로나로 인한 환난과 위기의 때에 우리는 무엇을 어떻게 기도해야 할까요?
1 인생의 위기에서 하나님께 부르짖었습니다. (1~2절)
인생의 깊은 수렁에 빠졌을 때 우리가 가장 먼저 해야 할 일은 하나님께 간구하는 일입니다. 1절에 나오는 ‘부르짖는다’는 말이나 2절에서 ‘내 소리를 들으소서’이 두 단어 모두 하나님과 연관되어 사용될 때는 ‘하나님께 간절히 도움을 청한다, 기도한다’가 됩니다. 위기에 처했을 때, 인생의 깊은 곳에 놓였을 때 하나님께 부르짖으면 하나님은 우리를 모든 환난에서 건지십니다(렘33:3, 눅11:9, 요14:14)
- 나의 허물과 죄를 먼저 살펴야 합니다. (3~5절)
본문 3절에서는 죄악을 지켜보시는 여호와라고 했고 4절에서는 사유하심이 주께 있다고 했습니다. 이 말은 하나님은 우리의 교만과 죄를 살펴보신다는 말이고 동시에 그 허물을 사하시고 꼬인 것을 푸시는 분이시라는 뜻입니다.
깊은 시련의 때에 우리는 스스로 겸손해야 하고 돌이켜 하나님이 원하시는 뜻을 살펴야 합니다. 그리고 하나님께 도움을 청해야 합니다. 그 때 하나님은 기가 막힐 웅덩이와 수렁에서 끌어 올리시고 내 발을 반석 위에 두사 내 걸음을 견고하게 하실 것(시40:2)입니다. 중요한 것은 지금이라도 마음의 옷을 찢고 하나님 앞에 겸손히 엎드리며 나아가야 하는 것입니다.
- 인내하며 견뎌내야 합니다.(6~7절)
본문 6절에서는 파수꾼이 아침을 기다림보다 내 영혼이 주를 더 기다린다고 했습니다. 그리고 7절에서는 하나님께는 인자하심과 풍성한 속량이 있다고 했습니다. 파수꾼은 밤새 자기 지역을 지키면서 새벽 동터오는 것을 간절히 기다립니다. 그만큼 간절하게 하나님을 찾고 사모하고 기다리라는 것입니다. 그리고 그 이유는 하나님께 인자와 풍성한 속량이 있기 때문이라고 했습니다. 여기에서 인자(헤세드, 아카페)란 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 말하고 풍성한 속량이란 하나님의 구원(건지심+치유하심)을 말하는데 이는 하나님의 사랑과 은혜의 가시적인 징표를 말합니다. 하나님의 은혜와 사랑은 눈으로 확인할 수 있고 피부로 느낄 수 있고 몸으로 느낄 수 있는 확실한 것입니다.
세겜 땅에서 위기에 놓였던 야곱에게 하나님은 ‘네가 네 형 에서의 낯을 피하여 도망하던 때에 네게 나타났던 하나님께 거기서 제단을 쌓으라.’(창35:1)고 했습니다. 위기의 때에 우리를 속량하시고 피할 길을 주시는 하나님께 기도의 자리를 만들어 나아가야 합니다. 물리학에서 임계점(the critical point)이라는 용어가 있습니다. 한계점을 넘으면 바로 형체가 바뀌고 변화가 나타나는 지점입니다. 우리의 시련과 고통이 밑바닥을 쳤을 때 그때가 바로 기도 응답의 임계점입니다. 하나님은 지금도 자기를 찾는 자들에게 나타나시고 해결의 길을 여십니다.
(1-4) Crying to God
Out of the depths I have cried to You: Previously in the psalms there have been cries from the depths of the earth (Psalm 71:20) or the depths of the grave (Psalm 86:13). Once again, from a place of deep and overwhelming danger, the psalmist cries out to Yahweh,
Lord, hear my voice: Translators use the same word Lord to translate both the name Yahweh in the first line of this psalm, and Adonai in the second line. Each word is a title or name for the God of the Bible, the Creator of heaven and earth. Here, the psalmist called out to Adonai, His master and ruler, asking Him to hear his voice knowing that for God to hear His people is to help His people.
- If You, LORD, should mark iniquities: In asking for God to help, the psalmist also understood that he had no confident reason to ask or to be heard by God apart from His great forgiveness.
Without this graciousness, no one could stand before Yahweh.
- But there is forgiveness with You: Years of previous relationship with God had taught the psalmist that there is, in fact, forgiveness
with God.
- That You may be feared: One of the great purposes of God’s great forgiveness is to build a sense of gratitude and reverence in those He forgives. His pardon should lead to purity and His forgiveness to an appropriate fear of displeasing the One who has been so gracious.
(5-6)Speaking to the soul.
- I wait for the LORD, my soul waits: Having made his cry from the depths to God (verses 1-2), the singer then determined to wait upon God and the rescue He would bring.
- In His word I do hope: The waiting was not passive or inactive. The psalmist used the time to actively set his hope upon God’s promises, revealed in His word.
- My soul waits for the Lord: Here, using the word Adonai, the psalmist again expressed his trust in Yahweh Adonai (the LORD…the Lord). This phrasing used both Yahweh, the name for the covenant God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and Adonai, the normal
name for a master
- More than those who watch for the morning: The poet used a vivid image to express his patient anticipation in waiting on God. We see a watchman in the darkness of the early morning, scanning the horizon for the first sign of the dawn. The watchman doesn’t doubt that morning will come, but only wonders when, and watches for it diligently. So it was for the singer who watched for God and the help God promised to bring.
- Some think those who watch were military guards, others think they were priests waiting for dawn so the morning sacrifices could be started for the day. It doesn’t really matter if the watchmen were military or priestly; they waited for the morning with certain expectation that it would come.
- (7-8) Speaking to the people of God.
- O Israel, hope in the LORD: With this verse the phrasing turns from the personal to the public. What the psalmist learned in waiting upon God and trusting Him from the depths is now put to use as he calls upon Israel to put their hope in Yahweh Adonai.
- Hope in the LORD: The psalmist put his faith and hope in the Lord Himself, not in the mercy or redemption God would bring. He looked to the Giver before the gift.
- For with the LORD there is mercy: What he learned in his personal life, he can put to application for the whole nation. When God’s people humbly look to Him, there is mercy and abundant redemption for both the individual and the community.
- He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities: This is the confident conclusion to the psalm, demonstrating trust that God will indeed bring the redemption and rescue to both the individual and the nation overwhelmed in the depths of their sin. What God has demonstrated in the private life, He will also perform for the community that cries out to Him.
