5 loaves of breads and 2 fish(Luke 9:16-17)

🏡Jesus’ Table with 5 loaves of breads and 2 fish

✍️Bible Verse
16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. 17 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. Luke 9: 16-17

🏡
Jesus’ looking up to heaven, and He gave thanks for very small portion of the meal. Thanksgiving and blessing are being together in one word, “Eucharist.” When we give thanks to God, God will send blessing to us because those two acts of Christian and God are inseparable. How much and how often have we been thankful for Jesus’ life, love and His church for us? When we give thanksgiving even very small thing, God will make that small thing to be great thing by His blessing upon that.

How could the only 5 loaves bread and 2 fish become multiplied and more than enough to feed all those 20 thousand people? Because passing and sharing, God blessed enormously. When Jesus was born, He was very small baby infant laying in a small manger in small town Bethlehem. All religious leaders, priests didn’t believe in small baby to give them salvation from Rome, and killed Him on the cross later, because they expected the Messiah must be very powerful great warrior with huge military power and soldiers to fight with Roman Emperor and save Israel. Do you really believe that Jesus is Great Almighty God with Great Power, and very important in my life? Or sometimes you ignore Him because He couldn’t do miraculous work for my problems in my life.

One infant baby Jesus in a small manger turned to so many Christians and churches in the world. All those churches are the body of Christ. How many Christian churches and Christian people are there in the world? About 37 million Churches in the world, and 2.3 billion Christian people in the world. After thanksgiving, Jesus started breaking the bread and giving them to the disciples; the disciples delivered the bread to each group. The people took some pieces of bread and passed the bread to next person.

When they took some for themselves and passing the bread was getting larger. When some were very hungry and kept the loaves of bread from passing the bread stopped multiplying and spoiled. When they were passing and sharing the bread the bread was growing and getting bigger a lot, 30, 60,100 and 1,000 portions. Jesus gave us His gospel to pass to other people. If you stopped passing the word, you would be hungry and your grace from Jesus would be spoiled. Jesus multiplied and blessed to be 37 million Churches in the world.

Two American missionaries brought the word of Jesus to Korea, that bread of the Word multiplied to become 20 million Korean Christians, 30 % of population; sending 27,000 missionaries out to 120 foreign countries. 293 Christian schools, and 40 Christian universities. Top 3 of 4 Universities are Christian institutions. Amen.
