“하나님이여 사슴이 시냇물을 찾기에 갈급함 같이 내 영혼이 주를 찾기에 갈급하니이다.”
(시42:1)
사슴이 온 힘을 다해 물을 찾는 모습은 생존을 위한 갈급함입니다.
시편 기자는 바로 그 갈급함으로 하나님을 찾고 있습니다.
우리 마음에는 어떤 것으로도 채워지지 않는 빈자리가 있습니다.
그 자리는 하나님으로만 채워지도록 만들어졌기 때문입니다.
샬롬! 한 주간도 갈급하게 하나님을 찾음으로
내 영혼에 참된 만족이 넘치는 복된날들 되시기를 기도하며 축복합니다.

“As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for You, O God.”
(Psalm 42:1)
The sight of a deer searching for water with all its might represents a thirst for survival.The psalmist is seeking God with that very thirst.
There is an empty space in our hearts that cannot be filled by anything else. This is because that space was created to be filled only by God.
