LOKA is delighted to announce that the Korean American Day bill, introduced as HB0770 and SB0627, has been passed in the Maryland General Assembly! We would like to thank Senator Clarence Lam, Senator Katie Hester, Delegate Courtney Watson, Delegate Mark Chang, and Delegate Dr. Chao Wu for their hard work and support of this bill. Governor Wes Moore’s APAA Commission and the Howard County AAPI Commission also provided tremendous support during this process, and we sincerely appreciate all of the support!
