오늘 우리는 멸시받고 사람들에게 버림받은 이의 길을 따라 걷습니다. 고통을 아시며 침묵으로 짐을 지신 그분을 기억합니다.
그는 도살장에 끌려가는 어린양처럼 소리 없이
고난을 받으셨고, 찔림과 상함으로 우리에게 평화를 주셨습니다.
오늘, 환호도 없고 기적도 없습니다. 다만 십자가 위에서 끝까지 사랑하신 주님, 그 무력한 사랑이오늘도 우리를 부릅니다.
이제, 이 침묵의 자리로 함께 나아갑시다. 주님의 상처 앞에 멈춰 서며, 그 깊은 사랑 안으로 들어갑시다.

CALL TO WORSHIP
Today, we walk the path of the one who was despised and rejected. We remember the one who bore our
burdens in silence, who, like a lamb led to the slaughter, suffered without a word. By his wounds, we are given peace.
Today, there are no cheers, no miracles—only the crucified Lord, who loved to the very end. His vulnerable love still calls us today.
So now, let us come to this place of silence. Let us stand before his wounds and enter into the deep mystery of his love.

THE PASSION ON THE CROSS
Seven candles are placed in a line beneath the cross at the front. Readers are chosen to match each role and read aloud accordingly.
인도자: 그날 밤, 그분은 기도하셨습니다. 제자들이 잠든 동안에도, 그분은 한 번도 쉬지 않고 우리를 품고 계셨습니다. 마침내 어둠 속에서, 칼과 횃불과 분노를 들고 그를 찾는 자들이 다가옵니다.
조용히, 그러나 담대하게 주님은 그들을 맞이하십니다.
Part I – The Arrest (John 18:1-11)
낭독자 (예수): “내가 그니라. 나를 찾거든 이 사람들은 가게 하라.”
Leader: That night, he prayed.
Even as the disciples slept, he held us close in unceasing love. In the shadows, with swords and
torches and fury, they came to seize him.
Quietly, yet boldly, the Lord met them.

제 장 ‒ 베드로의 침묵 (요한복음 :~)
Reader 2 (Soldier): “They bound Jesus and led him away.”
인도자: 불길 앞에서 몸을 녹이던 밤, 가장 먼저 무너진 것 은 충성의 말이었습니다.
그를 따르겠다던 베드로, 그 사랑을 고백했던 입술이, 침묵속에서 무너집니다.
낭독자 (베드로): “나는… 나는 그 사람을 알지 못하오.”
인도자: 그 말과 함께, 새벽닭이 울었습니다.

인도자: 새벽의 법정에서, 세상은 진리를 심판하려 들었습니다. 그러나 진리는 말이 없었습니다.
낭독자 (빌라도): “진리가 무엇이냐?”
인도자: 그는 물었지만, 그 대답을 들을 마음은 없었습니다. 그는 질문만 남기고 등을 돌렸습니다.

제 장 ‒ 왕의 조롱 (요한복음 :~)
인도자: 그분은 맞으셨습니다. 피가 났고, 살이 찢어졌고, 사람들은 조롱했습니다.
낭독자 (병사): “유대인의 왕 만세!” (비웃으며 옷을 벗기고, 가시관을 씌움)
인도자: 그러나 그분은 아무 말도 하지 않으셨습니다. 그 침묵이, 온 우주를 울렸습니다.

Part II – Silence of Peter (John 18:15-27)
Leader: By the fire’s glow that night, the first to collapse was the promise of loyalty.
Peter, who had vowed to follow, whose lips once confessed love, now crumbles in silence.
Reader 1 (Peter): “I… I do not know the man.”
Leader: At that moment, the rooster crowed.
(Extinguish the second candle. Silence and soft instrumental music follow.)
Part III – Truth in Silence (John 18:28-40)
Leader: In the courtroom of dawn, the world tried to judge Truth. But Truth made no reply.
Reader 1 (Pilate): “What is truth?”
Leader: He asked but had no heart to hear. He left only the question and turned away.
(Extinguish the third candle. Silence and quiet music follow.)
Part IV – The King Mocked (John 19:1-16)
Leader: He was beaten. Blood spilled, flesh torn, and the crowds mocked him.
Reader 1 (Soldier):
“Hail, King of the Jews!” (They strip hHim and press a crown of thorns on his head.)

제 장 ‒ 십자가를 지다 (요한복음 :~)
인도자: 그는 십자가를 지셨습니다. 더 이상 말로 설명하지 않으셨습니다. 사랑을 몸으로 보여주셨습니다.
낭독자 (예수): “여자여, 보소서 아들이니이다. 보라, 네어머니라.”
인도자: 죽음 앞에서도, 그는 관계를 잇고, 사랑을 나누셨습니다.

Leader: But he said nothing. His silence shook the universe.

Part V – Bearing the Cross (John 19:17-27)
Leader: He bore the cross. No longer with words, but with his body, he spoke love.
Reader 1 (Jesus): “Woman, behold your son… Behold, your mother.”
Leader: Even facing death, he connected hearts and shared love.
(Extinguish the fifth candle. Silence and quiet music follow.)
Part VI – Silence of Death (John 19:28-30)
Leader: Denied even a final sip of water, he spoke.
Reader 1 (Jesus): “It is finished.” (Pause briefly)
And he bowed his head.
Leader: His stillness covered the world. Now… He is silent.
(Extinguish the sixth candle. Silence and quiet music follow.)
Part VII – The Sealed Tomb (John 19:31-42)
Leader: They laid him in a tomb, a stone tomb, cold, heavy, sealed. But his love would not be stopped, not
even by the stone.
(Extinguish the final candle. Silence and quiet music follow.)

이 밤은 말없이 떠나는 밤입니다.
십자가 아래 남겨진 자로서,
침묵을 간직한 채 참회하는 마음으로 돌아갑시다.
This is a night of silent departure.
Let us return with hearts of repentance,
as those who have stood at the foot of the cross
and have been marked by its silence.
The congregation departs in silence.
