Let us pray together to bring an end to the wars currently spreading across the globe and to foster world peace. During World War II, the residents of one city would pause their activities every night at a designated time to pray for the peace and safety of all people.

They did this every day, and it seemed as though the entire city had come to a momentary standstill. Such was the power of prayer. The results were truly astonishing; it is said that, before long, the bombings ceased. Now, people are gathering once again.

Let us also pray that families may find safety, protection, and salvation in God. If we were to truly grasp the immense power of prayer, we would be astounded.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
