The circumstances of a saint’s life are ordained of God. God by His providence brings you into circumstances that you can’t understand at all, but the Spirit of God understands. God brings you to places, among people, and into certain conditions to accomplish a definite purpose through the intercession of the Spirit in you. Your part in intercessory prayer is not to agonize over how to intercede, but to use the everyday circumstances and people God puts around you by His providence to bring them before His throne, and to allow the Spirit in you the opportunity to intercede for them. 성도의 삶에 발생하는 상황들은 하나님의 섭리하에 있습니다. 하나님은 섭리 가운데 당신이 전혀 이해할 수 없는 상황, 그러나 주님은 이해하고 계신 상황으로 인도하십니다. 하나님께서 당신을 특정한 장소와 사람들과 환경으로 인도하시는 이유는 당신 안에 계시는 성령님의 중보하심을 통해 특별한 목적을 성취하시고자 함입니다. 중보 기도에 있어서 당신의 역활은 중보를 어떻게 해야 하나 고통스러워 하는 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 당신에게 허락하신 상황들과 사람들을 하나님의 보좌 앞으로 가져가는 것입니다. 그러면 당신 안에 있는 성령님께서 그들을 위해 중보를 하실 것입니다. 이러한 방법으로 하나님께서는 주의 성도들과 함께 온 세상을 만지시는 것입니다. 이때 우리는 우리가 의식할 수 있는 삶의 부분을 성령이 거하시는 성전이 되게 하여야 합니다. 챔버스 묵상 중에서.
