☞United Prayer(Lent first Week) for Overcoming Coronavirus
Oh Gracious God,
We trust you and present our soul and body. You are Life and Hope, you are the Resurrection from death, Lord, you are the healer of the sick.
Almighty God, we turn to you, imploring your Heavenly help, intervene with your saving power and protect us from the Coronavirus epidemic.
Strengthen our immune system and protect body, that of our loved ones from Coronavirus and other infectious diseases. Please heal those who are already suffering from coronavirus and give them the strength to fight this virus and the tenacity to overcome.
Lord Jesus, you who took upon us our pains and for your holy wounds we were healed grant us life, life in abundance.
Especially, be with the thousands of people who have infected the coronavirus in China and South Korea, Worldwide elsewhere. Comfort those whose loved ones have died. Bring peace to those living with uncertainty after perhaps being exposed to the virus. Give patience to those who are quarantined and unable to move freely in their communities. We keep in our prayers not only for churches, pastors and the ill, but also breakthroughs in medicine and those people caring for the ill.
Almighty God, watch over and protect other people from catching this deadly virus. Strengthen those who are risking their own lives to care for sick patients. May we all be filled with compassion for those who are suffering.
Please help us to remember that God is the ultimate healer ‘I am the Lord who healed you(Exodus 15:26)’
