Today marks the 79th anniversary for United Methodist Communications! On Oct. 1, 1940, the first Methodist Information office opened at 150 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York. While the agency has grown, changed and made its way south to its current headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, one thing has been constant: communicating a message of faith throughout the world. #UMC #79thAnniversary
