If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?&#8221; [Matthew 18:12, NIV]<\/p>\n<p>This is the truth: You matter to Jesus. Yes, you do. God&#8217;s love for you does not require worldly qualifications. He has called your name so that you may come to Him. He desires to be with you. Read verse 12 again. This is not just a story. It is a powerful confirmation of Jesus\u2019 love and promise for each of His people. As the Good Shepherd, Jesus never abandons His sheep.<br \/>\nThere are times when we may feel like the wandering sheep, lost and unsure of our way. But remember this: You are never forgotten. You are very precious to Jesus. He cares just as much for the one who is lost as He does for the ninety-nine who remain with Him (v.13). So today, draw near to Him. Knowing that God is constantly seeking after you, how will you respond to Him today?
